Summer ‘22 reading list
Alright folks, it’s here. Our first relatively Covid-free summer (touch wood) in a few years and I can’t be the only one who has gone and booked flights to the other side of the planet - because where else do you expect us to go when you’ve been stuck in the same cul-de-sac for more seasons than we have fingers. Whether you’ve found yourself on a far-flung beach or you’re at home ‘sunbathing’ in that one patch on the floor where the sunlight hits for an hour of the day, you’ll probably want a book to encapsulate the moment. Hopefully one of these books will cater well to whatever ‘summer you’ you plan on expressing - the subway bookworm, the ‘5-minutes early to lunch’ literate, or perhaps the ‘reinvent myself before the new semester’ reader. At best, use it as a polite excuse for wanting some you-time away from the family holiday and the walk they insist on going.
